This gear drive multispit rotisserie has everything you’d ever want in a nice package. It consists of eight small skewers for smaller cuts of meat like souvlaki, kebab, gyro slices, picanha, vegetables etc. On top two large skewers can turn whole lambs, pigs, chickens etc. with ease. Also a removable grill can accommodate anything else that you don’t want on the rotisserie. One motor turns the large skewers and the other the 8 small skewers. On the vertical spit supports there is a drive position and a rest position for the spit to be disconnected for the gear where you can manually turn the spit to make your cuts and adjustments while everything else is moving. Two motors rated for 200 in lbs CE certified. Since this BBQ is built to order it can be customized according to your needs. Please contact us if you have any questions.
Loads should be balanced as best as possible for the longevity of the motor. The pig/lamb or other load should be on the center of rotation. Rest the spit on the BBQ (without being connect to the motor), the spit will turn with the heaviest side on the bottom. To offset this you may use a counter weight on the opposite side (top) or readjust your load.
